Who We Are
The award-winning Elkins High SchoolBand and Color Guard proudly represents its Missouri City home, performing at football games, parades, and other FortBend Independent School District events.It also performs at marching band competitions, concert band festivals, jazz festivals, and more.
Why We Need Your Support
Donations help us purchase things like custom uniforms, which cost around $60,000 each year, to complement this year’s marching show and provide a fresh new look for the future of the program. It helps us buy new percussion equipment, which can cost $5,000 for a single piece or electronic equipment. In addition, it helps us buy color guard flags and guard floors, which costs $4,000 to $6,000. It also helps bridge the gap of annual band student expenses not covered by our school district.
